Mongolian Barbeque

The name says it all. It is located west of the Claremont Colleges. This is one of the famous Mongolian Barbeque restaurants with a circular flat grill.

The menu is really simple but it doesn't mean there is a small choice of food. Basically you either get one bowl of 'Mongollian Barbeque' or 'all you can eat Mongolian Barbeque'. The price difference is about a dollar. Added on to that are some basic Mongolian sides orders which consists of rice, soup, flat bread and some fried stuff (I'm not sure what they are called). I usually don't even lay hands on the side dishes except the rice because they are really bland and don't taste like anything. The Mongolian Barbeque itself is self serve and you can pick the meat and vegetables that goes in it. They have a wide variety of meat, vegetables, and different sauces. They have like 5 different sauce material available and there is a chart that explains how to make varying levels of spicyness for your dish. I guess it's pretty fun to make your own sauce. In terms of the pricing it usually comes out more then $10 per person. But you can get a meal less then $10 if you get the non all you can eat dish and no drink.

One thing to note is that they have special drinks such as Shirley Temples.

My Opinion: I don't like the atmosphere there. The lighting is dim and I remember it being warm last time I went. The taste of the food is okay. I would go there a couple times a semester.

Choice Burgers

Choice Burgers is a Mexican and American food, fast food restaurant located in Brea, Ca. This is a great place to go if you are close to Brea and you get hungry. Up two blocks is the Brea Mall and the Edwards Movie theater (great place to hang out).

Choice Burgers is famous for its great Burgers and it super good Chicken Salad. Personally I like to eat anything with Carne Asada in it. I hear that if you know Jason you may even get a free meal here.
